                      ( BEING HEROIC PART 3 & 4 )
                               AWAKENED CITIZEN PROGRAMME

                An interactive and informative session was conducted on 5th October, 2019 under  “Awakened Citizen Programme” for the students of Class – VIII. As we all know that Module 05 which is “Being Heroic Part 3 & 4”.
Part 3 deals with “Keeping Commitment I make” in which students discussed in detail about  a girl named Nargis, who promised her mother to clean her room. Despite her tiredness after coming from school, play and tuition she cleaned her room. After the discussion students were asked whether  keeping commitment  awakens the heroic spirit. The students  answered nicely and enthusiastically participated in the debate and also discussed about their day to day commitment and  correlated their incident with Nargis.
Part 4 (Choosing To Obey) deals with Dhyanchand who won three Olympic Gold medals for Indian Hockey. He loved dribbling but his Coach asked not to dribble but to pass the ball to his teammate because hockey is a team game. Several questions were asked after the case study but the most interesting question was “What were the ways in which Dhyanchand reacted to his Guru after the suggestion”? The students answered in a very nice and decent manner.They also shared their life experiences and realised the benefits of the ACP .

ACP FOR CLASS VII, VIII & IX

                                                                              ACP The ACP is a three-year graded program, which can be implemented for classes  7, 8 & 9. The program consists of 48 modules (16 modules per year) where each module is of minimum 45 minutes duration. The CBSE has reviewed the contents of the ACP and has welcomed its implementation in schools (refer CBSE Circular). RAM KRISHNA MISSION  has provided some YouTube videos based on qualities demonstrated by Swami Vivekananda Ji which is being shared to students, who in turn will revert back with their responses. A student needs to pause the video when the question come up on the screen and can answer back.
